Our quest for both traditional and cutting edge textiles starts with a wide range of natural fibers such as wool, Merino sheep, alpaca, angora, bison, camel, cashmere, llama, mohair, bamboo, and silk, and synthetic fibers (including nylon, acrylic, polyester, Nomex®, Kevlar®, Kanecaron® modacrylic and more). We convert these fibers into yarns via the ring spun system, which includes blending, carding, spinning, winding, doubling, and twisting steps.
High-Performance Textile Solutions for Industrial Applications
Throughout the process, we produce roving that is sold for spinning, felting, or composite manufacturing operations. We also produce batting for large-scale industrial applications requiring thermal insulation or cushioning. In addition, we use some of the yarn that we produce ourselves to manufacture specialty knitted fabrics for the safety, apparel, and sporting goods markets.
