Yarn
Top quality yarn is a staple at Crescent Textile Solutions. We convert natural and synthetic fibers into spun yarn on our woolen system. From the start, the quality of raw fibers is inspected, and the spinning process is controlled and monitored under one roof, using state-of-the-art equipment from around the world to ensure that only the finest high-performance yarn is produced for you.

There are six distinct processes to convert fiber into yarn (click on icons to learn more):

Roving
Roving is a continuous strand of carded fiber that is soft, airy, and uniform. It can be made from natural and synthetic fiber blends, depending on the desired performance characteristics. This material is ideal for felting, industrial filling/padding, composite manufacturing, or spinning on woolen systems.

Batting
Batting is a dense, uniform sheet of carded (but untwisted) fibers that retain their loft and flexibility. Like most of our products, batting starts as a fiber blend, which can range from wool and alpaca to high-performance synthetics. Because batting is used for large-scale industrial applications such as insulation or cushioning material for furniture and mattresses, we engineer our batting blends to provide properties such as flame resistance, thermal regulation, and durability.

Fabric
Knitted fabric lining is soft, durable fabric used for lining the inside of apparel, footwear, and bedding for the comfort of the user. Our fabrics are top quality, as we control the entire process – from bale to roll – by blending and spinning our own yarn, then knitting it to your specifications.
